Goat Meat soup recipe


Ingredients required for goat meat soup recipe
1 kg mutton finely chopped
2 onions chopped
3 garlic clove crushed
2 green chilli sliced
1 bell pepper chopped
2 tsp black pepper
3 tsp coriander seeds powder
1 tbs oil
4 cardamom crushed
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1 fresh ginger grated
1 potato and carrots finely chopped
Some fresh green peas
3 tbs curry powder
4 tomatoes chopped
Water
Salt and pepper
Methods
Take a large pot and heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat and stir-fry the goat meat until its brown for about 10 to 15 minutes. Set goat meat aside after its cooked. Then in the same pan cook and stir onion, red bell pepper, green chillies, and crushed garlic cloves over medium heat till the onion is translucent for about 5 minutes; pour in ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, curry powder, coriander powder, cardamom crushed, cinnamon powder and bring mixture to a simmer. Allow to cook down slightly for about 5 minutes.
Then put the fried goat meat to the sauce and add 3 cups of water in it. Bring the goat meat mixture to a boil then reduce heat to low, and simmer covered until goat meat is partially tender for about 30-40 minutes. Pour in potato, carrots, and peas; season with salt, and black pepper. Simmer the mixture until goat meat is very tender and potato and carrots are cooked through 20 to 30 more minutes. Finally, adjust the seasonings as per your taste before serving the goat meat soup.
